About the Role
We are seeking a creative and organized Music Event Coordinator to join our team. As a Music Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and executing music events, concerts, and festivals from conception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our music events.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Collaborate with artists, managers, vendors, and venue staff to plan and coordinate music events
Develop event concepts, themes, and schedules to meet client objectives and audience expectations
Secure event venues, permits, and equipment rentals as needed
Manage event budgets, expenses, and logistics to ensure profitability and efficiency
Coordinate with marketing and promotional teams to create and execute event marketing campaigns
Handle event registration, ticket sales, and attendee management
Oversee event setup, including stage design, sound and lighting setup, and signage placement
Supervise event staff and volunteers to ensure smooth operation and customer satisfaction
Monitor event progress and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner
Evaluate event success and provide post-event analysis and recommendations for improvement
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or related field preferred
Proven experience in event coordination or management, preferably in the music industry
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Creativity and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of event planning software and tools
Passion for music and understanding of music event trends and culture
Salary: $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
