About the Role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Music Audio Director to oversee all aspects of audio production for our music projects. As a Music Audio Director, you will be responsible for managing the recording, mixing, and mastering of music tracks, as well as ensuring the highest quality of sound for our releases. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with talented artists and producers to create exceptional music experiences.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead the audio production process for music projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets
Collaborate with artists, producers, and engineers to achieve the desired sonic vision for each project
Oversee the recording, mixing, and mastering of music tracks, ensuring optimal sound quality and clarity
Develop and implement best practices for audio production techniques, equipment usage, and workflow efficiency
Manage recording sessions, including scheduling, setup, and equipment operation
Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support to resolve audio-related issues during production
Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in audio technology, and emerging techniques to maintain a competitive edge
Collaborate with marketing and promotion teams to ensure audio content meets commercial standards and audience expectations
Maintain organized audio files and archives for easy access and reference
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in audio engineering, music production, or related field preferred
Proven experience as an audio director, audio engineer, or similar role in the music industry
Expertise in audio recording, mixing, and mastering techniques, with proficiency in digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live
Strong technical knowledge of audio equipment, signal processing, and acoustics
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Passion for music and commitment to delivering high-quality audio experiences
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
