About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and visionary Music Artist Developer to join our team. As a Music Artist Developer, you will play a crucial role in identifying, nurturing, and developing emerging talent to help them achieve their full potential in the music industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with artists to shape their careers and contribute to the success of our music roster.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Scout and recruit promising artists through attending live performances, reviewing demos, and networking within the music industry
Develop and implement artist development plans tailored to each artist's goals and aspirations
Provide guidance and mentorship to artists in areas such as songwriting, performance, branding, and career strategy
Coordinate with internal teams, including A&R, marketing, and promotion, to support the artist's growth and success
Arrange studio sessions, writing camps, and collaboration opportunities for artists to hone their craft and expand their networks
Act as a liaison between artists and industry professionals, including managers, agents, publishers, and record labels
Assist artists in securing record deals, publishing agreements, and licensing opportunities
Organize showcases, showcases, and other promotional events to showcase artists' talent and connect them with industry stakeholders
Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and emerging talent to identify new opportunities for artist development
Provide ongoing support and advocacy for artists throughout their careers, ensuring their artistic integrity and professional growth
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in music business, artist management, or related field preferred
Proven experience as an artist developer, artist manager, or similar role in the music industry
Strong network of contacts within the music industry, including artists, managers, agents, and industry professionals
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Passion for music and commitment to nurturing artistic talent
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
