About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Audio Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with senior engineers and producers to assist in various audio-related tasks, including recording, mixing, editing, and equipment maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level candidate looking to gain hands-on experience and grow in the field of audio engineering.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain audio equipment for recording sessions
Support in controlling volume levels and sound quality
Learn to edit, mix, and manipulate sounds
Assist in testing sound equipment before events
Help identify and troubleshoot technical issues
Participate in adding sound effects during performances and recordings
Learn to manage acoustic measurements and tests
Support in enhancing and adjusting sounds at live events
Assist in synchronizing videos and audio tracks
Aid in maintaining sound libraries
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in audio engineering a plus
Basic knowledge of audio editing software (e.g., MIDI, Pro Tools)
Interest in audio and sound equipment operation
Good communication and teamwork skills
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Passion for music and sound production
Salary: $30,000 - $40,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Hourly: $15-$20
